USA, 26 September 2022: Fisker Inc, a leading electric car company, is set to enter the India market after opening its headquarters in Hyderbad. The company intends to release its first models early next year, the Ocean and PEAR.
The company’s facilities in California, USA, will be coordinated by the Hyderabad headquarters.
Fisker ‘s ocean production
At the company’s factory in Magna Steyr, Graz, Austria, production of the Fisker Ocean is scheduled to start on 17 November 2022. The Sport, Ultra, and Extreme are the three variations of the electric car that are offered.
The PEAR will start being delivered in the main markets in 2024, according to Fisker.

“We have already started local hiring in India and expect our new team in Hyderabad to be fully operational and engaged on multiple product programs within weeks. Our talent pool in India will help us pave the way for the launch of Fisker Ocean and Fisker PEAR in India,” Henrik added.

Fisker previously this month stated that it would participate in two future investor conferences’ fireside chats via webcast.
Last week Fisker and Wallbox collaborated to make Wallbox home EV chargers available to Fisker EV. Former will be the first OEM to provide latter’s Pulsar Max charger in Europe, offering drivers in seven different European nations customised charging options.
