CANADA, 2 June 2023: Summit Nanotech, a leader in sustainable lithium extraction technology, has announced the appointment of Dr Jeremy Patt as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Dr Katerina Kryst as Vice President of Engineering.

The additions of Patt and Kryst to the team are expected to accelerate the deployment of Summit’s denaLi™ technology and support the company’s mission of producing environmentally friendly lithium.
Dr Jeremy Patt brings over fifteen years of leadership experience as a chemical engineer and CTO, with a successful track record in commercializing groundbreaking chemical process technologies. His expertise in research program establishment, pilot plant development, and manufacturing facility advancement will drive the field deployment of Summit’s DLE technology.
Dr Katerina Kryst, a licensed chemical engineer, joins Summit from her previous role as Technology Development Manager at Koch Separation Solutions. She has a proven ability to design and scale cutting-edge lithium extraction systems, as well as experience in managing projects focused on reducing waste and environmental impact.
Amanda Hall, Founder and CEO of Summit Nanotech, expressed confidence in the new appointments, highlighting their impressive backgrounds in both Fortune 500 companies and venture-backed startups. Hall believes that their contributions will expedite the deployment of denaLi™ technology and propel Summit towards its goal of becoming a leading producer of sustainable lithium.

The appointments of Dr. Patt and Dr. Kryst follow the recent addition of Gautam Parimoo as Chief Operations Officer. Summit Nanotech continues to expand its executive team to support the growth of its denaLi™ DLE technology. The company recently opened a location in Chile, which will serve as a focal point for scaling the technology and executing de-risking programs related to reinjection and water recovery.
