NEW YORK, 7 June 2023: Hyzon Motors Inc (Hyzon) (NASDAQ: HYZN), a global supplier of zero-emission heavy-duty fuel cell electric vehicles, and Performance Food Group, Inc (PFG) (NYSE: PFGC), one of the largest food and foodservice distribution companies in North America, have signed an agreement for up to 50 fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEV).

Fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEV)

The initial delivery of five FCEVs is expected to begin in 2023, with an additional 15 FCEVs to be delivered in 2024. The FCEVs will be powered by Hyzon’s proprietary fuel cell system, which is specifically designed for heavy-duty freight transport.

PFG is committed to reducing its greenhouse gas emissions and carbon footprint, and this agreement with Hyzon is a significant step in that direction. The FCEVs will help PFG to reduce its emissions by up to 90%, compared to traditional diesel trucks.
