With a spotlight on Europe’s demanding automotive standards, the company aims to secure significant orders and make a substantial impact on its global order goals for the year.

Hyundai Mobis has announced its participation in the IAA Mobility 2023 Show, scheduled from September 5th to 10th. As a continuation of its presence since 2021, this year’s event takes center stage in the company’s electrification roadmap. Over 20 production-ready innovations in electrification and automotive components will be exhibited, including the showcase of Kia‘s EV9 featuring Hyundai Mobis’ cutting-edge Battery System (BSA) and Power Electric (PE) system.
Revolutionary Chassis Platform Module
A highlight of the event is the introduction of the next-generation e-CCPM (Electric Complete Chassis Platform Module). This innovative platform integrates core electrification advancements into an adaptable aluminum frame. This breakthrough eliminates the need for distinct platform developments, enabling the creation of various Purpose-Built Vehicles (PBVs), presenting a comprehensive solution for electrification.
Collaborative Endeavors and Global Outreach
Hyundai Mobis is set to engage in discussions with renowned European automakers, including Volkswagen, Daimler, and BMW, with the goal of fostering collaborations on groundbreaking technologies. This includes Hyundai Mobis’ pioneering electrification solutions, autonomous driving systems, and the world’s first rollable display.
Expanding European Presence
With its sights on enlarging its European market share, Hyundai Mobis aims to leverage global mobility events like IAA. Notably, the company secured electrification components contract with Volkswagen, solidifying its position and potential for further European contracts. In its pursuit of overseas auto component sales amounting to USD 5.36bn, Europe’s contribution is expected to be around USD 1.29bn, constituting approximately 25%.
