BYD India to hike EV prices from July 1

BYD India will increase prices across its electric passenger vehicle portfolio from 1 July 2026, BYD said in a press release.

The price revision will range between 1% and 2%, depending on the model and variant, the company said.

BYD India said the increase is being driven mainly by sustained foreign exchange fluctuations.

Customers who book a BYD vehicle in May or June 2026 will continue to receive current prices, provided delivery is completed on or before 31 July 2026.

Bookings made on or after 1 July 2026 will be subject to the revised pricing.

BYD India’s passenger EV portfolio includes the Atto 3, eMAX 7, Seal and Sealion 7.

Rajeev Chauhan, head of Electric Passenger Vehicles business at BYD India, said the revision is due to foreign exchange fluctuations, while adding that the company continues to see demand for models such as the Atto 3 and Sealion 7.
