BENGALURU, 20 September 2022: Bhavish Aggarwal, Ola Electric’s CEO, announced that the company will open 200 offline experience centers by March 2023.
Launch of Ola electric scooters
In August 2021, Ola Electric launched the S1 and S1 Pro electric scooters, marking their entry into the e-mobility market.
The firm now aims to add physical touchpoints to increase sales, despite the fact that Ola has long placed a lot of bets on its digital-only sales model.
Offline experience centers
The CEO of Ola Electric announced the company’s plans on the social media platform Twitter. He even mentioned the establishment of 20 such centres.
According to the website for Ola Electric, experience centres there as well as in Belgaum, Chandigarh, Chennai, Delhi, Kolhapur, Mangalore, Pune, and Thrissur are currently open for business.

The S1 or S1 Pro will be available for test drives at the nearby Ola experience centre for potential Ola customers. They will also offer financing and post-purchase support.
It is important to note that this move is intended to increase Ola’s sales, which have been dropping over the past few months.
Ola scooters cost and range
The Ola S1 and S1 Pro electric scooters from the company are currently available for INR 99,999 and INR 1.40 lakh, ex-showroom, respectively.
The 3kWh lithium-ion battery pack included with the S1 is advertised as having a 141 km riding range on a single charge (ARAI certified).
However, Ola’s S1 Pro is said to have an ARAI-certified riding range of 181 km per charge and a larger 4kWh lithium-ion battery pack.
