AMSTERDAM/CALIFORNIA, 10 June 2023: Archer Aviation Inc and Stellantis NV will attend the 2023 Paris Air Show to showcase the latest progress on Archer’s eVTOL aircraft, the Midnight. The Midnight is a fully electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft that is designed to revolutionize urban air mobility.
The Paris Air Show is the world’s largest aerospace event and is a key opportunity for Archer and Stellantis to showcase their commitment to the future of urban air mobility. The event will also provide Archer with an opportunity to meet with potential customers and partners.
eVTOL aircraft
Archer and Stellantis have partnered to bring the Midnight to market. Stellantis will provide its expertise in manufacturing and certification, while Archer will provide its expertise in eVTOL aircraft design and development. The Midnight is expected to be certified by the FAA in 2025 and will be available for purchase in 2026. The aircraft is expected to have a range of 60 miles and a top speed of 150 miles per hour.
