NEW DELHI, 27 July 2023: Lectrix EV, the electric mobility arm of SAR Group, launched two new electric scooters in India – the LXS G2.0 and the LXS G3.0. The scooters are priced at INR 1 lakh each and offer a range of segment-first features, including 36 safety features, 24 smart features, and 14 comfort features.
The LXS G2.0 and LXS G3.0 are powered by a 2.3kWh or 3kWh battery, which offers a range of up to 100 KMs. The scooters also come with a host of technological features, including integrated navigation, voice assistant, and over-the-air updates.
“We are excited to launch the LXS G2.0 and LXS G3.0, which offer a unique combination of safety, technology, and performance,” said K Vijaya Kumar, MD & CEO of Lectrix EV. “Designed for Gen Z customers, these scooters offer stylish, safe, and technologically advanced features.”
The LXS G2.0 and LXS G3.0 are available in over 100 cities across India. Bookings for the scooters have already begun and deliveries are expected to start by August 16.
Lectrix EV Plans to Raise INR 500 Crore Next Year
Lectrix EV also announced that it plans to raise up to INR 500 crore next year to launch new products and expand operations in India. The company has already invested INR 300 crore in the business so far.
“We are looking to raise funds to launch new products, expand our sales network, and strengthen our R&D capabilities,” said Kumar. “We feel that the Indian market for electric two-wheelers is primed for tremendous growth, and we are well-positioned to capitalise on this potential.”
