FORT WAYNE/INDIANA, 1 November 2022: General Motors Corporation (GMC) has licensed Recon Power Bikes to manufacture the all-wheel drive Hummer EV Ebike, a powerful and stylish bike, which complements GMC’s revolutionary new Hummer EV Supertruck and gives riders the ability to reach that “last mile.”

The dual 750-watt hub motors that make up this on-demand, all-wheel drive GMC HUMMER EV EBike have a maximum output of 2,400 watts. It offers three riding modes: Adrenaline for the best all-wheel drive performance, Traction for front-wheel drive, and Cruise for rear-wheel drive.
The LG battery that powers the e-bike is 48 volts and 17Ah by default, with a 21Ah option available. With an economical starting price of USD 3,999, this unique GMC HUMMER EV “Super Ebike” is developed and constructed for complete off-road dominance.
Both the all-electric and all-wheel drive pair will be sold at GMC dealerships around the world and online at GMCEBIKE.com.

The industry leader in electric motorcycles for the military and law enforcement is Recon Power Bikes. Federal agencies, local governments in 47 states, and the three branches of the US military all use Recon’s bikes.
Market research firm MarketsandMarkets predicts that the global market for e-bikes will increase from “USD 49.7bn in 2022 to USD 80.6bn by 2027.” Through the GMC dealer network, this arrangement enables Recon Power Bikes to expand their global market reach and widen their consumer base.
